DEPRESSION

Depression is a low mood that lasts for a long time and affects your everyday life. Living with depression can affect your appetite, sleep, mood, your relationships and the way they feel about yourself generally will be negatively compromised with depression.

ANXIETY

Anxiety is an emotion characterized by feelings of tension, worried thoughts and related physical changes. People with anxiety disorders usually have recurring intrusive thoughts or concerns. They may avoid certain situations out of worry.

EATING DISORDERS

Eating disorders are behavioral conditions characterized by severe and persistent disturbance in eating behaviors and associated distressing thoughts and emotions. They can be very serious conditions affecting physical, psychological and social function.

STRESS

Stress occurs when you feel under too much pressure or overwhelmed: work, home, children, relationships and the added pressures that comes with the extensive use of social media compounds the stress we experience internally.

ANGER

Most people will experience episodes of anger which feel manageable and don’t have a big impact on their lives. Learning healthy ways to recognise, express and deal with anger is important for our mental and physical health.
